Silverstone Technology Cluster and Westcott Space Cluster teamed up to bring a unique event looking at opening up new doors and presenting new opportunities for businesses across both Silverstone and Westcott.
Held on the 12th November at Westcott Venture Park, the event brought together innovative advanced engineering businesses from the Silverstone Technology Cluster and the barrier-breaking companies at Westcott to present an unrivalled opportunity for companies from both clusters to learn about the latest technologies, find new suppliers and customers and network with like-minded business leaders.
Matt Peachey, Head of Enterprise Zone Development at Buckinghamshire Council, said: “We were delighted to support this exciting joint event, which showcased pioneering and cutting-edge companies that are rapidly growing across the space and technology sectors, based within the Westcott and Silverstone Enterprise Zones.
“Westcott and Silverstone are among the most exciting innovation assets here in Buckinghamshire. Over the past five years we have helped to further develop the huge potential of the space and technology sectors and believe that future collaborations across sectors will continue to build a secure platform for UK innovation and growth.”
Over 50 delegates attended the Westcott Innovation Centre for networking and a tour of this ever-growing site, featuring test facilities and businesses involved with rockets, drones, robotics, AI, Additive Manufacturing and propulsion of all kinds.
